These terms apply to the GetVPN website at getvpnworld.com and to both GetVPN mobile applications. By installing or using GetVPN, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The GetVPN service and this website are operated by CodeLabs, Office 1702, 17th Floor, Prime Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: [email protected], +971 4 559 8000.
The apps are published under different names on the two stores:
Whichever app you install, your purchase contract for the app itself is with the store you bought it from, and these terms govern your use of the GetVPN service reached through it.
GetVPN is a consumer virtual private network. It routes your internet traffic through a server in a region you choose, encrypting it between your device and that server. It is intended for lawful personal use.
We currently operate regions in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States. Regions may be added, moved or withdrawn as capacity and demand change.
GetVPN is published on two platforms with different commercial models. Both connect to the same servers with the same encryption.
Prices are set in the relevant app store and may vary by country and over time. The price shown in the store at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.
All payments are processed by Apple or by Google, not by us. We never receive or store your payment card details.
Refunds are therefore governed by the policies of the store you purchased through, and requests must be made to that store. We cannot issue a refund for a purchase we did not process. If a store declines a refund, that decision is theirs and not ours to overturn.
By using the free Android app you accept that advertisements will be displayed and that third-party advertising software will operate within the app. How that software handles data is described in our Privacy Policy. If you would prefer an app with no advertising, the iOS app does not include any.
You agree not to use GetVPN to break the law in your country or in the country whose server region you have selected. In particular you must not use it to gain unauthorised access to systems, to send spam, to distribute malware, to infringe copyright, to harass anyone, or to transmit material that is illegal where you are or where the server is.
You are responsible for knowing whether VPN use is permitted where you are. Rules differ between countries and we cannot advise you on your local law.
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, or where required by law.
Internet performance depends on your device, your connection, your provider’s routing, the distance to the server and conditions on the wider internet, most of which are outside our control.
Any latency or speed figures shown on our website are measurements taken from a visitor’s own browser at a moment in time, or are illustrative. They are not a promise of performance. A VPN cannot make a connection faster than the underlying line, and connecting to a distant region will normally increase latency rather than reduce it.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we do not guarantee that any particular website or service will be reachable while connected.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, including individual server regions, and may update these terms. Where changes are significant we will note them on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use GetVPN after a change means you accept the revised terms.
The GetVPN name, the apps, the website and their contents belong to us or to our licensors. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you control. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute it except where the law expressly permits.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, data or goodwill, or for loss arising from interruption of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence, and you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies there.
